Jean Prouvé Demountable House – EP1: SWITZERLAND ART BASEL

Bally, patron of the arts, celebrates French and Swiss modernist architects and designers, with “Function and Modernity” a year-long travelling art exhibition dedicated to modernity, function and innovation. Curated by Anissa Touati, this evolving exhibition – presenting Bally’s exclusive furniture collection by Pierre Jeanneret and one of the famous demountable houses of architect Jean Prouvé – made its first stop in Basel, where Bally invited Kolkoz to create a unique art piece inspired by the modernists’ legacy entitled “Form Scratch”. We celebrated the opening of this unique exhibition, held on the occasion of the most prestigious Art Fair in the world, with a cocktail on OST Quai’s beautiful terrace and a dinner by Chef James Henry. The project is a work in progress and has been continued on the occasion of Art Basel Miami and Shanghai Design.
