Hotel Series: Les Bains Douches Hotel

For more than a decade, sadly, no one has a set foot in it. After 25 years (1978-2003), this mythic venue for legendary nights closed down. In December the curse that seem to have touched this place of worship will be lift off thanks to the ambitious project of Jean-Pierre Marois. Indeed, the latter, whose family has always own the building that sheltered Les Bains Douches, has decided to restore the luster and function of this temple of international nightlife. But this time, with a more contemporary ambition.

Les Bains will reopen in December 2014 as a 5* Hotel, including a restaurant-bar-club and a private-nightclub. The spirit of Les Bains will be born again thanks to the talent of prestigious collaborators such Tristan Auer and RDAI agency for interior design, former gallery owner Jérôme Noirmont who will be in charge managing future collaborations with the art world or even my humble self, Thomas Erber; artistic director for all the non hotel-related activities.

This place will, without a doubt, be one of the places to be in Paris in 2015, and this will last for at least another legendary quarter of a century.

Write it down, as soon as December 2014, you’ll be able to enjoy one of les Bains’ finest suites for your next stays in Paris.
